For over three years, Patrick & Leanne were a cornerstone of the Livermore Valley music scene—a duo devoted to the power of real, human connection. At the heart of this partnership was a simple but enduring belief: music is for everyone, and connection is always worth creating.
The Collaboration
The duo featured Leanne, a vocalist and keyboardist who came from New York, where she was a lifelong student of music and studied piano and voice. She was joined by Patrick Noel Russ, a vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter who has been writing and performing his entire life. As the creative force behind the duo’s original material, Patrick crafted a catalog of songs focused on love, authenticity, and the shared human experience—themes that remain central to his work today.

In 2026, he introduced Blue Sky Firefly, a project that carries forward that same "radiant" energy and focus on crowd-pleasing favorites, alongside his role as lead vocalist and guitarist for the Celtic-fusion band Charmas.
The original songs written during this era continue to resonate, often appearing in Patrick’s intimate, all-live "Storyteller" sets, ensuring that the deeper connection established during this period stays at the core of his musical footprint.
